Naad Yoga is the “essence of sound”.
This essence is felt through the vibration of sound waves.
All sound and language share the original sound curent. Everything in creation has it’s won frequency as it is constantly in motion, vibrating it’s unique frequency. In today’s science of Quantum Physics and String Theory, we might refer to this as the quantum field. The fundamental of a sound is the frequency at which the entire wave vibrates. Nada yoga is a practice based on the experience of how sound vibrations affect the body, mind, spirit by producing or listening to any sounds.
There are many ways to enter into the sound current: drumming, laughing, chanting, breathing, praying… The sound waves draw your awareness from the outward to the inner landscape where the listener meets their soul and God in the still quiet voice within.
Even in silence we can hear the beat of our heart as well as the waves of breath ebbing and flowing. Using breath and mantra we consciously regulate the sounds and vibration. We can produce profound effects on our body and mind health and well-being. Rhythm, tune, melody, affirmations, and our breathing can create a healing response in the immune system. This immune system response to vibrational frequencies has been scientifically documented through research.
Healing sound frequencies are inherent in chanting mantra stimulating and regulating many body functions including the immune system and the feel good happy hormones.
The power of sound energy is one of the most accessible, simplest, and most effective methods of balancing the body’s overall sense of well being. A happier you is a stronger more resilient you!
